Socialborough, Vermont land deeds, 1761-1773.

John H. Lydius of Albany, New York sold land to James Havens of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, as noted in a land deed dated September 29, 1761. A deed on January 9, 1773 shows that Jacob Marsh of Socialborough, Vermont purchased six hundred acres of land for three hundred pounds from Goldsbrow Banyar, and seventeen other New York grantees. Two deeds February 26, 1773 and December 13, 1773, both signify the sale of land from Jacob Marsh of Clarendon, Vermont to Oliver Arnold also of Clarendon.
